Adopt-A-Hole
ADOPT-A-HOLE TO SUPPORT IMPROVEMENTS
TO THE MADISON PARK DISC GOLF COURSE
Be a Part of Milwaukee Disc Golf History
Milwaukee County has approved our request to finish the other 12 tee pads at Madison park, to install alternate tee positions for all 18 holes, and has approved our proposal to allow people to Adopt-A-Hole in order to raise money for the course.
Example Signs
WHAT DO I GET IF I ADOPT-A-HOLE?
A sign, on the hole tee sign, forever designating that hole as the one you have adopted. Examples above, but within reason, you can put whatever you want on the sign. Whether that is a personal message, a business logo and information, or memorial for a friend, we can work with you to put what you want on your sign. (*content subject to board approval, so be cool everyone).
WHO WOULD SEE THIS SIGN?
Everyone who plays the course. The signs will be right on the tee sign for the hole you adopt. According to UDisc statistics (an App disc golfers use to keep score), there were over 3500 rounds played at Madison Park in 2022 and 2023 with people using UDisc. A statistical analysis done in 2021 found that about 1 in 5 rounds played uses UDisc (https://udisc.com/blog/post/figuring-out-how-much-disc-golf-was-played-in-2020), this means it is likely that Madison Park had somewhere between 7,500 - 10,000 rounds of Disc Golf played on it each of the last two years. With these improvements, that number will only go up.
DO I HAVE FURTHER FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS IF I ADOPT-A-HOLE?
No. Adopters will be encouraged to help take care of their hole (pick up trash, and just generally care for it, but you are not obligated to do anything).
DO I GET ANY OTHER PERKS WITH ADOPTING A HOLE?
Other than forever being a part of Milwaukee Disc Golf history, you will be consulted when it comes to your hole, as we are adding alternate pin positions, do you think an elevated hole makes sense? Is there a short tee position with the existing rubber pad that makes sense? What about additional trees, we have access to plant trees around the course, and some holes could be significantly improved with some trees being planted, do you have ideas of where those could go? I cannot promise veto authority, as we are subject to County approval, but we I promise will talk to you about your hole for any changes being made.
HOW DO I ADOPT-A-HOLE?
E-mail the Friends of Madison Park Disc Golf at madisonparkdg@gmail.com with what hole you want to adopt and I will get you the details. First come, first serve. We are asking for a $550 tax deductible donation to adopt a hole. This will allow us to fully fund the rest of the tee pads, the alternate tee positions, and allow us to use our regular fund raising (leagues and tournaments) for planting trees, adding benches, and other course improvements. 100% of proceeds will go towards course improvements.
You can also support the course by just making a donation of any amount. Donate for Madison Park Disc Golf Course Improvements:
