Mission
Our mission is to provide an inclusive and accessible community space for individuals to engage in the sport of disc golf, promoting physical activity, social connection, and environmental stewardship. Through partnerships with local organizations and volunteers, we strive to maintain and enhance our park's amenities, preserve natural habitats, and support educational programs that highlight the benefits of a healthy and active lifestyle.
Practice Basket
Adding a practice basket next to hole 1 for warming up putting and preparing for your round.
Replacement Tee Pads
Replace the rubber tee pads to address the numerous erosion and safety concerns with the current pads.
Recreational/Youth Layout
Additional tee pad locations to cater to a variety of skill levels, including youth players. Milwaukee County is lacking a course that caters to new players and young players.
Alternate Basket Locations
The current course has a great base design, but uses a mix of the "a" and "b" pin locations designated on the hole maps. Expanding the course includes adding alternate tee locations. Combined with "short pads" will give the course 4 different layouts for players to choose from.
Vision For the Madison Park Disc Golf Course
Our vision is to create a Milwaukee County leading disc golf park that provides a safe, enjoyable, and challenging experience for players of all skill levels. We aim to promote physical activity, mental wellness, and community engagement by offering a variety of course layouts, amenities, and events that meet the diverse needs and interests of the local community of disc golfers. Our commitment to transparency, sustainability, and collaboration drives our efforts to continually improve the park and enhance the surrounding environment for years to come.
All donations are tax deductible as our Friends group is affiliated with the Parks People, a 501(3)(c) organization who manages all donations and holds them to be used for course improvements.
